PEI PNP (Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program) targets immigrant aspirants based on their skills and willingness to establish themselves economically in the province, and on the current in-demand occupations that are needed in PEI.

The PEI PNP is one of Canada’s Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), with one category for workers and international graduates and an additional one for Business Impact entrepreneurs.

Choosing Prince Edward Island Immigration

Prince Edward Island, one of the four Atlantic provinces, is the smallest province in terms of land and population in Canada. Agriculture (mainly fishery) and tourism remain the most preponderant industries in the province. Prince Edward Island offers very exciting opportunities for new immigrants wanting to settle in the province.

Apart from some federal programs, the province has its own immigration streams. Only one of the PEI PNP streams is Express Entry aligned. Indeed, a successful application leading to a provincial nomination will grant the applicant 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points. This will then lead the applicant to automatically obtain an invitation to apply (ITA) in the following Express Entry draw.

The rest of the streams are non-aligned Express Entry streams, there is no need to be in the pool. There are streams for Skilled Workers and International Graduates with job offers in the province, and for investors.
